Attended Candidate Seminar July 2006, currently on Pre-field ministry. Lord willing, we hope to leave for language school in August 2010.
Melissa Nieves, MD
Doctor Nieves was appointed with ABWE in the Summer of 2009.
Currently on Prefield Ministry and working in a Christian Clinic in Inner-City Philadelpha. She hopes to help begin ABWE’s medical missions ministry in Ecuador.
Laura Fouser Lynell Smith
Laura and Lynell arrived in Ecuador in January 2011 when they transferred from the field of Brazil with over 10 years experience working with the ABWE team there. Laura and Lynell bring much experience, having worked in women's discipleship, Bible Studies, children and youth ministry, and many, many other areas. Please pray for them as they seek to learn/better their Spanish (Brazil speaks Portugese!) and adjust to the new culture and new team.
